The Klargester BioDisc, uses a set of rotating discs to clean waste water. Bacteria live on the discs within the system, they are partially submersed in the water so the bacteria can feed upon the sewage and partially exposed to air so the bacteria can receive vital oxygen. The disc system is driven by a motor, via a belt and gearbox.
The method of treatment is very stable, giving good final effluent quality. However, the cover is large and needs to be sited in an area where aesthetics isn’t going to be a factor. The Klargester BioDisc, like the SOLIDO is totally silent running.
