Premier Tech Final Effluent Pump Station
Owls Hall Environmental are experts on sewage treatment and pump technology, offering a wide range of products to suit all eventualities. The Premier Tech range of final effluent pump stations are an excellent choice for lifted treated water from a sewage treatment plant when a gravity discharge is not available. The GRP Chamber houses the pumps and comes with either a 110mm or 160mm inlet.
Advantages of using a pump station
Choosing a pump station rather than a sewage treatment plant with an internal pump is highly advantageous. Leaving the sewage treatment plant to only do the job of treating the sewage, and allowing the pump station to do the lifting of the cleaned water separates these two jobs to dedicated components. A sewage treatment plant with a internal pump is a basic approach. A single pump with a float switch lifts the water from inside the treatment plant. Power failure to the treatment plant will stop the pump from working and there is no fail safe for if a pump breaks or blocks. Using a twin final effluent pump station gives you peace of mind that there is a second pump as a back up.
Twin pump station with no control panel
A simple arrangement of two pumps at the bottom of the chamber. Each run when their own float switch rises. One pump is set slightly higher than the other, therefore the second pump will only work in the event that the first pump cannot cope. It is designed as a basic option to give you a back up pump.
Twin Pump with dedicated control panel and independent floats
The twin pump station with dedicated floats is the more professional option. The pumps are installed at the same height at the bottom of the chamber. Float switches are wired into the control panel which alternates usage between the pumps. The panel has an audible alarm and can easily be fitted with a flashing beacon.
The Outlet connection is 1 ¼ BSP on both varieties.

- Free delivery – you will need to organise your own offloading
Designed to have zero visual impact on its site location, the Premier Tech pump station offers a complete below ground installation that is easy to install, completely sealed to protect against noise and odour and automatic in operation, meaning maintenance time on site is kept to a minimum. The pumps have been carefully selected to give the optimum forward flow rate at the lowest running cost. The standard station is supplied with two pumps controlled by a float switch attached to the pump itself. A duty/standby or duty assist configuration may be used whereby two pumps are employed. In this case, and where the station is feeding a rising main, a non return valve will be fitted at the outlet of each pump. The delivery pipework can be easily disconnected within the chamber, to facilitate removal
